The onTap framework is growing! There are more downloads every day and we're working through our growing pains effectively one day at a time and intend this to be a thriving, vibrant open-source community in the coming year.
If you're interested in being part of the active development of the community and the framework, whether you want a major role or just a cameo, please get in touch. We'll be happy to assist you in any way we can. :)

Hi. I'm the author of the onTap framework and the DataFaucet ORM. I have Asperger Syndrome and am refusing to allow that to keep me from doing what I love. I'm excited about great software! Being autistic means that I may rub people the wrong way from time to time. I may even seem egotistical. Don't let that fool you, I really am a nice guy. :) And I occasionally post brief announcements on Twitter.
I started working with ColdFusion (version 3) in 1998 on contract at MCI / WorldCom. Since then I've worked for a lot of different companies. And I've been fired a lot. That's an unfortunate part of the package that comes with Asperger Syndrome and related autism spectrum disorders (ASD). I'm taking action now to keep this from pwning my life.
Unlike a lot of people with my condition, throughout my career I've continued to push myself to "get out there", meet people and network. These are all things that autistics are traditionally very bad at doing. The reality is my skills in these areas are still very poor, but I work on them every day. As a result in spite of having botched my opportunity for a college degree when I was younger, I've been lucky enough to find myself on Team Macromedia (prior to the merger) and then a member of the Adobe Community Experts program. I've been on a couple of prerelease programs (alpha/beta) for ColdFusion, I've spoken at the Fusebox / Frameworks conference as well as cf.Objective and for a number of ColdFusion user groups over the years.
I recently started a new project called CacheBox that seeks to eliminate a lot of duplication of effort in the ColdFusion community by providing powerful, self-configuring caching that can be seamlessly integrated into other frameworks and applications with very minimal configuration. This project is also seeking whatever insight and help you might be able to provide regarding your current method(s) of object caching, the type and amount of data you cache, etc.
And for those who occasionally ask, yes Dealey Plaza was named after a member of my family. My great-great grandfather George Bannerman Dealey.
